Actually, I don’t worry about subtitles will burn oled screen, because the words of subtitles always change. You should avoid tv channel logo burn oled screen. I have "white transparent" which makes them look kinda gray. Little dark for normal content but perfect for HDR/Dolby Vision.
This thread is archived. Plex running on webos doesn't support native pgs subtitles. Because of this Plex has to do transcoding. Either use srt subtitles, which the webos Plex client can handle natively or get a Amazon firestick 4k. It is able to handle pgs subtitles without transcoding. I’ve seen this as well.
